What makes Nini Amsterdam blankets unique?
Each Nini Amsterdam blanket is individually woven with your baby’s personal birth details such as name, date and time of birth, and birth weight directly into the fabric.
The personalisation is not printed or embroidered on top, but becomes part of the weave itself, resulting in a refined, durable and truly timeless keepsake.

Our blankets are made to order by our production partner in Italy using high-quality jacquard weaving techniques.

How does personalisation work?
Personalisation is completed during the ordering process.

On the product page you will be asked to enter your baby’s personal details (such as name, date and time of birth, and birth weight) into dedicated input fields. These details are woven exactly as submitted into your blanket.

Please carefully review all information before completing your purchase, as we produce exactly what is entered and cannot change details once production has started.

When will my blanket be produced and shipped?
We operate on a weekly production and dispatch schedule:

  • Production takes place every Monday

  • Orders are dispatched every Friday via UPS

Orders placed from Monday to Thursday (until 23:59 CET/CEST) enter production the following Monday and ship that same week on Friday.
Orders placed on Friday or later will enter production the Monday after and ship on the following Friday.

How long does delivery take?
Delivery times vary depending on your location and the carrier. Within Europe, delivery usually takes 2–5 business daysafter dispatch.

Please note that transit times are indicative and that delays caused by carriers, customs, weather conditions or other external factors are outside our control.

Can I cancel, change or return my order?
Because each blanket is made to order and personalised specifically for you, personalised products are excluded from the right of withdrawal and cannot be cancelled, changed, returned or exchanged once the order has been placed and production has started.

If you notice a mistake in your personalisation immediately after ordering, please contact us as soon as possible at info@nini.amsterdam
We can only adjust orders that have not yet entered production.

What if there is a personalisation error or defect?
If your blanket contains a defect, transport damage, or a personalisation error that is demonstrably ours, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at info@nini.amsterdamwith clear photos of the issue.

We will assess the situation and offer a repair, replacement or refund where appropriate.
If the error is the result of incorrect information entered during checkout, we are unfortunately unable to remake or replace the blanket.

Are minor colour or weave variations normal?
Yes. Small variations in colour, texture or weave are inherent to the jacquard weaving process and are part of the craftsmanship. These variations are not considered defects.

Are Nini Amsterdam blankets safe for newborns?
Yes. Our blankets are made from carefully selected, baby-friendly materials and produced according to European quality and safety standards.

We recommend following general safe sleep guidelines and using blankets under adult supervision for newborns.

How should I care for my blanket?
To maintain the beauty and quality of your blanket, we recommend:

  • Wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle

  • Do not tumble dry

  • Do not bleach

  • Iron on low heat if needed

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide from Italy.
For deliveries outside the EU, any applicable import duties, taxes or customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient unless stated otherwise.
