Terms of Service

By placing an order with Nini Amsterdam, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Identity

2. Scope

These terms apply to every order placed via our webshop.

3. Product & Personalisation

  • Our blankets are made to order and personalised based on the details you provide (e.g., name, birth date/time, weight).

  • Please ensure your personalisation details are accurate; we produce exactly what you submit.

  • Minor colour or weave variations are inherent to jacquard craftsmanship and are not considered defects.

4. Prices & Taxes

  • Prices are shown in euros and include VAT for EU customers.

  • For deliveries outside the EU, import duties/taxes/fees (if any) are payable by the recipient unless expressly stated otherwise.

5. Ordering & Payment

  • Payment is due at checkout via the available methods.

  • Production begins after successful payment confirmation.

6. Production & Delivery

  • We weave every Monday and dispatch every Friday (UPS).

  • Orders placed Monday–Thursday (until 23:59 CET/CEST) enter production the next Monday and ship that week’s Friday.

  • Orders placed on or after Friday enter production the following Monday and ship the Friday after.

  • Transit times are indicative; delays caused by carriers, customs, weather or similar are outside our control.

7. Right of Withdrawal & Returns

  • Personalised products are exempt from the EU right of withdrawal (Directive 2011/83/EU; Dutch Civil Code 6:230p).

  • Therefore no returns or exchanges are possible for personalised blankets, except in the case of defect or damage on arrival.

  • If we offer non-personalised items, they carry a 14-day cooling-off period; items must be unused and in original condition.

8. Defects, Damage & Personalisation Errors

  • Report transport damage or defects within 14 days of delivery with clear photos to support@nini.amsterdam.

  • Remedy will be repair, replacement or refund, as appropriate and reasonable.

  • If a personalisation error is demonstrably ours, we will remake or repair at no cost.

9. Liability

  • Our liability is limited to direct damages and, in any event, to the invoice value of the relevant order, to the extent permitted by law.

  • We are not liable for consequential damages or delays due to force majeure (e.g., carrier strikes, customs delays, extreme weather).

10. Intellectual Property

  • All designs, photographs and texts are the property of Nini Amsterdam and may not be used without prior written permission.

11. Data Protection

  • We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy (GDPR). Please see our Privacy page for details and your rights.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These terms are governed by Dutch law.

  • Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
